I did read the description, I am still a little distracted by the bow placement and hand position (being a classical violinist) but the mood captured here is so perfect! I love her expression and lighting, this is pretty much how I feel when I play violin

In defense to the photographer -- excellent photo and model -- She is now playing a fiddle not a violin. A fiddle can be sitting on the collarbone to be played. The hand position is at the discretion of the player. At least that is what my fiddle playin' buddies tell me.
